Description: Alternative illustration for the story 'The Lhondoo and the Ushag-Reaish''. Calligraphy reads 'One' (the first word of the story). This is an alternative version of the 'The Lhondoo and the Ushag-Reaish' design that was not used in the final publication. The publication 'Manx Fairy Tales' by Sophia Morrison was first published in 1911 and reprinted in 1929 with title pages for each story illustrated by Archibald Knox.
