Brooch 4

A silver and enamel brooch by W. H. Haseler designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty and Co.

Stamped maker's mark, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1908,

the central circular boss of blue and green enamel, to a cut away oval mount with stylised inverted entrelac terminals, against a blue and green enamel ground, 3.3cm long.

A fabulous & rare silver & enamel brooch designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co,

The brooch has a wonderful design set with peacock feather blue green enamels and a central boss in a dramatic vivid orange.

It is fully marked to the back with the assay office marks for Birmingham date letter “i” for 1908 plus the distinctive WHH for the maker. It measures 1.25" across.
