'Cymric' Silver Art Nouveau Inkstand, the conical shaped hinged cover opening to reveal an enamelled border, the semi-circular base inset with turquoise matrix. 17cm.

Stamped makers mark with no. 500/2 and Birmingham hallmarks for 1904.

A `Cymric' Silver and Enamel Inkwell with Water Opals

the shaped demi-lune vessel with central inkwell having a hinged conical lid opening to

reveal a turquoise and green enamelled rim and original Ruskin green pottery liner, the

base of the inkwell heightened with twin water opals.

17cm long, stamped maker's marks with `Cymric' and Birmingham hallmarks.

A rare Liberty & Co Cymric silver inkwell set with turquoise stones and with blue green enamel to the inkwell’s interior. Hallmarked Birmingham 1904, model 500/2. A variant of this inkwell with fire opal stones appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book “Archibald Knox” , Second edition, pages 226 and 227.
