Pendant in 15 ct. gold set with a very fine oval boulder opal.

Suspended on two short lengths of chain from a gold bale, the approximately oval outline tapers to a point at the base and is embelished with an entrelac design on each side from the shoulders down to a little beyond half way.

Unmarked but confirmed by the Knox authority Dr. Stephen A. Martin as a design by Archibald Knox for Liberty’s.

Circa early 1900’s and measuring a fraction below 6.5 cm from the bale.

The 9 ct. gold necklace chain has a length of 52 cm.
