This is Page 27 of the bound volume of The Deer's Cry at the Manx Museum.
The illustration is one of two spacing pages "(apparently to be positioned when required between some of 11 irregularly-sized verses of the complete text)." The quote is taken for "Reflections on The Deer's Cry" By Marhall Cubbon which can be found in Dr Stephen Martin's 2001 book on Archibald Knox, page 162. Both spacing pages (the second one will be page 55) illustrate crosses with intricate geometric patterns.
The Archibald Knox Forum would like to hear your thoughts, ideas and comments on any of the pages from The Deer's Cry.
