This is Page 54 of the bound volume of The Deer's Cry at the Manx Museum.

"In the creator of the universe" is the verse. I wonder if this is the final product or whether Knox was experimenting with different colours and perhaps we are looking at a draft? I am glad I have been told that one of the words is "creator" because I still can't see all the letters. Maybe that is the point? - nobody can wholly see or know the creator of the universe.

The words in the above paragraph are just my personal and subjective thoughts. Knox must have had so many ideas and thoughts behind this page and the other pages which, perhaps, we will never know
.
The Archibald Knox Forum would like to hear your thoughts, ideas and comments on any of the pages from The Deer's Cry.
