Clock model 0252 is of varied appearance with the common factor being the shape of the design. The model is 16.8 cm high but, as can be seen below, there are at least three distinct variations which, at first glance, give the impression of three different models.

However, see the special large clock of 25cms below - auctioned by Lyon and Turnbull in November 2020

Affectionately known as the "radio" clock as it has the appearance of an Art Deco radio with geometric dials, this is pattern no. 0252.
This pewter clock is model 0252, designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. circa 1902-05.
This one has very art deco lines with the bars of abalone decoration.
However, remember this clock was designed well ahead of its time in circa 1902.
Knox, the “Venturesome Modernist” again.
The clock is illustrated in “Archibald Knox” by Dr. Stephen A Martin, 2001 page 240.
However, you will see how special this one is by seeing the auctioneer's'description below.
"Archibald Knox’s designs for Liberty & Co. are very well documented, especially his designs for their ‘Tudric’ and ‘Cymric’ ranges. At 25cm high, however, Lot 338 is unusually larger than its smaller counterpart (Lot 344A), which typically measures around 16cm high. Knox is known to have produced only a few extra-sized clocks during his Liberty period and it may be that this rare example was produced as a special commission."
