A photograph of Archibald Knox in the grounds of Ramsey Grammar School. It shows Archie borrowing one of his pupils bicycles in order to get to the Railway Station. No exact date but will be around 1929-1930. In return for borrowing the bicycle Archie gave the pupil cigarettes in exchange, which I think is brilliant. Typical of the man. I got the photograph from the pupil, Charlie Young,  and he told me as he took the photograph his mother came around the corner, so Archie doffed his hat to her.

AKF are very grateful to Alan Kelly of Mannin Collections Limited for the photograph and the anecdote.
