A superb "Sarepta" design spoon by Archibald Knox. Usually these are just silver like the ones on exhibition in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

This example is in a totally different league with the superb multi coloured enamels.

The design is wonderful, the hallmarks for 1903 and the Liberty & Co. stamp are all very fresh and crisp.

Flatware 2

An unusual silver and enamel caddy or condiment spoon designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co.

The design on the handle is known as Sarepta but I have only seen it on tea/coffee spoons before.

The spoon is 5" long.
