A beautiful pair of Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co sugar tongs in silver and enamel. These were designed in around 1902 and this pair was made in 1929 when, based on auction records, it seems for a period of about two years Liberty re-issued some of the Cymric designs, especially the flatware.
This design will appear in Stephen Martin’s forthcoming revised third edition of his book, "Archibald Knox".
