Caption
This design might well be by Archibald Knox. The motifs of stylised roses resemble closely those used by him on metalwork designs. In pinks and greens on a cream ground. This wallpaper design was created for the Silver Studio in about 1900. The pattern uses highly stylised pink roses with green leaves on a pale background. The motifs are similar to those used by designer Archibald Knox for his metal work products. Light coloured wallpapers such as this were popular in living rooms and bedrooms in Britain in the early twentieth century.
