An extraordinary silver vase by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co’s Cymric range. The vase is set with a pink purple enamel base, the body with cut out hearts highlighting the enamel beneath. The feet are connected with silver wire work that is highly distinctive and radical for the period. A variant of this model appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book “Archibald Knox”, second edition, page 185 model 25/73. In very good original condition.
