A stunning silver vase by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co’s Cymric range. The vase is embossed with a classic Celtic art nouveau design highlighted with classic blue green Liberty enamels. The base of the vase shows a similar Celtic design with three inset blue green enamels.

This model appears in Dr Stephen Martin’s book “Archibald Knox”, second edition, page 183, model 500/74.

Both silver and enamels are in excellent original condition. It is a very good gauge of silver.

A pair recently sold at Sotheby’s New York with further details provided by Dr Steven Martin who helped catalogue the sale.
