Caption

A design for a wallpaper by the Silver Studio from around 1900. The designer is thought to be Archibald Knox. The design features a sparse arrangement of thorned stems banded vertically. The space between the bands is filled at intervals by two leaves and two tulip-like flowers, all highly stylised. Two sections are coloured to show alternative colourways of dark green on green and blue on green.

Date   ca. 1900
