Artist: Knox, Archibald

Description: A relatively minimalist watercolour by Archibald Knox (1864-1933) of a skeleton windmill, which may be next to a small building or possibly a spoil heap. The painting is untitled and may be of a scene on the Isle of Man or southern England. A possible location for the mill is Mullen Guiye, Andreas, Isle of Man, where a similar skeleton mill was used as a threshing mill.
