Description: A relatively colourful watercolour painting by Archibald Knox (1864-1933) of Old Laxey village and harbour at low tide with a view up Laxey Glen to the distant hills in the background. Unlike most of his watercolour sketches which are untitled and unidentified views of the Manx landscape, Knox identified this as 'Old Laxey' and signs and dates the painting 'IX 1912 A. Knox'.
