Description: A relatively muted and minimalist watercolour by Archibald Knox (1864-1933) of a meandering stream with surrounding trees and the outline of a cottage roof in the background. The painting may depict a scene near Sulby village in the north of the Isle of Man, where Knox lived between 1900 and 1904.
