Scope & Content: On the left is the edge of a fine brick built Georgian house known as 'The Old Brig'. All these buildings were demolished in the early 1930s to make way for the Salvation Army Citadel.
In the top right can just be seen the cupola on the roof of the council chamber in the town hall. When the brick building was demolished the bricks were re-used to build three houses in Park Avenue, Douglas.
