A polished pewter clock with enamelled dial - the red enamels outlining a butterfly?
It stands on an easel rather than being a box shape.
The clock was designed by Archibald Knox for the Liberty & Co. "Tudric" range between c1902-1905 and has the model number 0608.

The two clocks shown below are models 0609 and 0608, being "Tudric" pewter clocks designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. c 1902 – 1905.
Both have a large blue enamel dial with red dots and clear glass. Art Nouveau in style, they embody a Celtic influence and thereby, a strong representation of the Knox synthesis of the traditional with the future.
The larger clock, model 0609, measures 20.5 cm high, whereas the smaller one, model 0608, is 14cm high.
The smaller clock is decorated with two additional enamels which only appears on some of the examples of this model. A similar version appears on page 233 of "Archibald Knox" by Dr. Stephen A Martin, albeit of a 11.3cm size version.
