The two clocks shown are models 0609 and 0608, being "Tudric" pewter clocks designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. c 1902 – 1905.
Both have a large blue enamel dial with red dots and clear glass. Art Nouveau in style, they embody a Celtic influence and thereby, a strong representation of the Knox synthesis of the traditional with the future.
The larger clock, model 0609, measures 20.5 cm high, whereas the smaller one, model 0608, is 14cm high.
The smaller clock is decorated with two additional enamels which only appears on some of the examples of this model. A similar version appears on page 233 of "Archibald Knox" by Dr. Stephen A Martin, albeit of a 11.3cm size version.
