The Archibald Knox designed graves and headstones in Braddan New Cemetery span a period of 37 years and are varied in style, structure and stone/rock composition. Some are showing signs of weathering whilst others look remarkably fresh.

As well as the front of the headstone, many have the patterns continuing onto the sides; and the boundaries of the graves also have tell-tale Knox designs, cut-aways and lettering on them.

The last grave in the list of 12 in this cemetery is that of Knox's parents and 2 siblings. This, as far as we know, was not designed by Knox but dates from his younger brother's tragic death in 1893.

The other 11 graves were designed by Knox and date from 1896 to 1933.
